Chris LaVecchia – Private Chef & Culinary Consultant

 Chris LaVecchia has been part of the hospitality industry since 1998. After graduating from culinary school in 2005, he trained under some of New York’s most accomplished Executive Chefs, working in prestigious restaurants, catering halls, and country clubs—including time spent with Michelin-starred chefs and mentors.


 Since 2017, Chris has brought his passion and expertise directly into clients’ homes across the East Coast, curating one-of-a-kind dining experiences. He specializes in exceptional fine dining tasting menus with wine pairings, elegant family-style dinners, cocktail parties, micro-catering, and corporate or private events. Every menu is customized to his clients’ tastes, always accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions while showcasing premium, seasonal ingredients.

 Chef Chris has earned a reputation for excellence, reflected in his flawless 5-star reviews, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail. His tasting menus have been described by clients as rivaling Michelin-starred establishments and surpassing the finest local dining experiences.


Beyond his private chef services, Chris is dedicated to continuous growth and creativity. Since founding his brand in 2017, he has received numerous awards and accolades, launched his own private label wine made from Italian-imported grapes, and expanded his expertise into culinary consulting. 


Chris is also a Certified Chef and Freelance Consultant for RATIONAL USA, certified on both the iCombi Pro and iVario Pro systems. He trains new customers, supports live demos, and represents RATIONAL at trade and food shows across the East Coast and Midwest.


His dedication to the craft has been recognized by the American Culinary Federation, Long Island Chapter (ACFLI), where he was honored as Chef of the Year and Member of the Year. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Gerard Molloy Chef Professionalism Award. Today, Chris now proudly serves on the ACFLI Board of Directors as Social Media & Programming Chair.
